Caller claimed that I was 160 GB over on my phone plan. I'm a software engineer and this would be impossible for me with my usage. I monitor my usage monthly and have alerts at 5 and 10 GB. Besides this, I use Wi-Fi almost all the time. I've never gotten an alert at 5 GB, ever over 10 years of usage. Besides, I have thebbest 25 GB unlimited plan. After that, the mobile 5G only would slow to 3G. This was a phishing scam. I looked the number up on a pay for service I subscribe to. The service had says 171 people reported calls to this unknown line. I believe the person that called is a scammer using a masking service with a leased, c****eable phone number. After I told the caller I had unlimited bandwidth, he asked me if I was going to pay for the how I wanted to pay for the extra usage. I ***g up. I'm writing this long comment so you don't get ripped off. **** up and block the number.
