Forwarding the email to your bank or the receipt for the mail you sent them should convince the bank you tried to deal with this "merchant" and to take the charges off.

Made an on-line purchase for sun glasses (supposed to be for S&H costs only. 2 months later recived another pair of sun glasses. No return address on the package and no one ever answers the phone # as it appears on the credit card. My CC company is crediting me the $19.90 and has made a note to never pay this vendor again.
