Call from 619-865-4542. I recived 7 phone calls withing 4 minutes. I did not answer because I didnt recognize the number and figured they would leave a message. They never did. I answered one time and couldnt understand them so I hung up. They called right back and said "Do you know who you just hung up on?". They said they were Anderson Law Firm working for InstaCash. I had a debt of over eleven hunderd dollars and If I did not fax my credit card information with a notorized letter stating that I authorize the patment and that I will not dispute it, before tomoorw,  they would have a termination letter served to my employer and I would have to go to court and have criminal charges pressed against me for 3 charges including check fraud. My fiance called the number and they gave him the information (which a real company wouldnt do as it is highly illegal). They told him that they are InstaCash working for Anderson Law Firm, which is the opposite of what they had told me. I recieved the exact same message, but the number they called me from was 4804220193. When I tried to get information about the company that they said was taking me to court, John Davenport got upset and hung the phone up on me. I didn't know what to do so I call companies that I had accounts with and made sure everthing was ok with my accounts. I am going to the police station in the morning to file a report. The company also used another number 480 422-0193 demanding that I called them in 3 hours with at lease a 300 dollar payment or else see you in court.

OMG I just got a call from them yesterday. The number to call back was 5594714078. They called my work and told my work it was a law office and to call back to speack to Charles Johnson. I called back and asked for him and he siad he was his associate. He read me a scipted affidavied and told me not to interupt him. It was dealing with instacash.com and that I had never repaid an online loan and that I owed $1260 to them. I told them I did not have the money right now so they told me I have to fax a promisary note with my credit card info, my SSN, my photo id and a statement. He also told me I need to get it notarized. I told him I could not do that in a day and he said,"oh just fax the documents and get it notarized later." I was completely freaked out. But then when I asked him who to send this too, " attn:?" he gave me a completely different name, Jim Smith with Legal Services and then told me his name was Norman. The ironic thinng is, is that the fax number was a completely different area code. I am glad I read all of this before I gave them all of my information. What can we do to stop this?

i got a call from the same people said they were sending the sheriff from california to come and arrest me for fraudulent checks.  I told them to bring it on, he said that he had an affidavit to read to me over the phone, and that this was my court order.  I told him he was crazy, that is not the process.  I called the police and they said that these scams are happening all over the states.  I found instacash.com, sent them an email and reported them as a scam.Don't agree to anything, validate  or give them any information, from what they gave me on my records, this is common information you can get from city records.Just keep hanging up or block their calls if you can.

The phone number I got a call from is +5594714078, spoke to two different guys, Mike Anderson and Shane Watson told me good luck with my case that I had to be to court this friday the 9th of April, but did not know when and where. They both spoke english but with very thick accents, that you could tell they were reading from a script. The more info I tried to get the would hang up on me, but then call me back and not leave messages. All they had to say was that I need a good lawyer because I have committed felons.  They work for Legal Attorneys, that was the name of the company, and it is for insta cash.

i gotta call from some guy, says i recieved a cash loan of $5,000.00 and that I never payed back the money. he states that my employer will be notified and i will be taken away for questioning.then he says i would have to pay a certain amount so that i can be cleared of the sitiuation.what a prick...anyways i hope he calls again....ive already informed friends with F.B.I.PLEASE CALL BACK...I DARE YOU.

What was the outcome.  I have been in a panic all weekend because they threatened to come to my job and arrest me on Monday along with arresting my two references .  I have bank statments that prove no money was ever deposited by them.  However, they said bank statments are not evidence in court.  The total was also for 300.  I have called the police.  But they seem to know too much inforation about me,

I have been receiving calls from 7140066000 .  They said I owed them $300 from insta cash which I never paid back. No money was ever deposited into my account.  They also said that tomorrow I will be arrested along with my 2 references.

ok i just got 4 calls from 402-982-0420 here in florida also said they needed my attorney info because i was being sued for fraud. Asked for 821.00 now to settle or i was going to be sued for 8000. told him he was full of it but he threatened the same stuff and also had my social etc... how can we get these guys????

I just got hit by these scammers as well.  Two ppl with REALLY BAD accents called me just now here in Florida telling me about this $871.00 I owe to InstaCash, and as a result, I will be subpoeanaed, if I don't show up in court, there will be a warrant, etc.  I did fill out an online payday loan thing back when I was desperate enough, but came to my senses about halfway through.  What really concerns me is the fact these ruthless idiots actually have my Social Security Number.  They also threatened my unemployment benefits, blacklisting my SSN, and all other kinds of "fun stuff".  Does anyone know if they have ever followed through on any of their threats, and what can I do to legally return the "favor" on these phone maniacs??

I had gotten a call from my daugher-in-law in Michigan, that she had gotten a call from either Harry or Terry Google (cute) with the same info that has been reported above.  I googled the number and found this site.  I've called her back and told her to contact the city police and make a report against these people.  She said that they had her home phone number, address, date of birth and social security number.  They did cite a "California Case Number" of VS144.  The number on her caller ID was714-006-6000, which when called is not a valid number.

no calls today from anyone and no papers served to me at my home or job! i guees that is good news! these people definely have a foreign accent and it almost sounded like a recording with different people talking but their words had somehow been jumbled together to make it sound one person? i hope i don't get any more calls and i wish that they wouldn't call anyone else but that won't happen unless every person that they harrass reports them! i also found the 714 number had a ton of complaints posted and they could be using other numbers too!

I have been getting calls from this too. She said that was the number to her village. Then she corrected herself and said that was the number to her division. It has had me freaked out too because I also have payday loans but am paying them back. Anyway reading your post was a relief. I have just let the calls go straight to voicemail and haven't gotten anything in the mail.

i got two calls from this number 714-006-6000. it was a woman who said her name was susan williams and left the message for me or my "retained attorney of record" to call 559-851-3910. she said if neither of us contacted her at her "division" the only thing she could do was "wish me luck as the situation unfolded upon me". when i called the number i spoke to michael carter  who said he was an attorney from davenport davenport and associates? told me i had not repaid a  $300 loan to instacash.com and was being sued in california for violation of federal banking laws, collateral check fraud, and theft by deception i was in disbelief, he said i had to be in court on feb. 19 in los angeles.he said instacash.com had sent me 15 unanswered emails and i made this decision to not repay so he would see me in court and if i wasn't there the police were coming to bring me there.  i have never been in any trouble with the law and he even said that he knew that b/c he looked at my record this person had so much info that i am terrified  i also spoke to another man named alexander davenport they say i will get papers in the mail about my case both of these men say they work for the same place but they sound like the same person. they said i was being recorded i have filed a police report in my hometown against this number and even contacted the police in huron califonia where this number called from. i coulndn't believe my eyes when i saw that so many others had been bothered by these people. they have to be stopped so report any info you have. i have both of the messages recorded and they are being turned over to the police these people threated subpeonas at my home and job as if they knew where i was i googled all of the info about their location and the police will too in my state and theirs i hope these people get caught!

I have multiple pay day loans out so I am scared and think might be true but I called the loans and they said they did not send them to anyone. Than i called guy and said it was a scam and he went off at me and told me ill be recieving a letter in the mail

That's what he said to me. I was scared but after all I read, I think this is a scam. Do not talk to these people.

yes i got that call at my job i never had a thing from them i was all scared they threatened me and said i was being sued for fruad and my bank said no funds ever came from them ever and i calmed down but im a young adult and i was all panicy i was like i never did anything they said i would b getting something in the mail its such a scam report them and u know its is because before you can be sued u should get both written warnings also not a phone call and if they can all of a sudden harass u for money and reach u now y not do it when u owned the money not by email!!! this was so not funny they called my job how rude and nerve wreaking it not right report them if u ever get a call like this they can not do that to u! and they dont let u finish talking they cut u off they get your info from other loans u may have had they are people who prey on ppl hoping to get money out of them trying to by trying to scare you

got 5 in a row calls from them telling me that there was a lawsuit filed against me in california.  i don't even live in california, nor do i owe anything in that state.  i live in the midwest.  they spoke english with a very bad & hard to understand accent.  when i would hang up on them they continued calling me (at work!!) and when i kept hanging up, they kept calling me back, they even asked to speek to my manager!!!!!
