I went to Long Beach state - 20+ years ago - have no idea how they would have my current number. I never replied or gave my personal info to that school since I left. Seems like a scam or selling of personal info. So I placed them in my spammer phone loop from***** (now they can call themselves via "forward message" ). Muu ha ha

They told me they were caling for ****x due to an unpaid student loan. I told them that person had NOT had my # for over 3 years & to remove MY # from their system & stop wasting my cell minutes.

BS spammer - called tonight, SUNDAY night! I have a listing. On my phone called "Do Not Answer". Adding this number right now!

blah! i got the same thing! lame...i have a contact on my phone called z**** that goes s2vm...i am tempted to add it to that contact

Just got a call on 9/14 @ 7:446 PM PST. No response on the other end - I muted the line and the call was dropped after approx 1 minute. This is the second call from them in the last month.

This is the automated "emergency alert"  from CSULB.  It is annoying, but harmless.  Most likely you have given your number as your CSULB contact number.  The system is occasionally *****d, but if you are getting random calls without a recorded message then it is probably a misfire and no more than a hassle.  At least you now know what it is.  I get  it too...  it ****s, but it is harmless.  You can always dig in to the bureauc**** and try to get your number removed.  Let me know how that works out....

I've been getting these calls for several months now.  They are quite annoying, once they called at 3 in the morning.  In fact, I just got one a few minutes ago.  I haven't bothered to pick up.  Earlier this week I got another call from them, but that time they left a message containing approximately 6 minutes of a j*** radio show.

I keep receiving calls from this number to my house number lately. I dont answer though and they dont leave a messege. I figure if it was important they would leave a messege and/or call my cellphone number aswell. I did answer a call from school once, not sure if it was the same number but it was on a Sunday which i found strange but stranger was them looking for my parents. I told my friend once and he said its probably them asking for donation which is another reason i dont answer calls from school anymore.

I'm an alumni, and I got a call too. I knew it was a CSULB number though (the 985 part gives it away) so I didn't pick up on purpose. I figure if it was important, than they would leave a message.

I also received a call from this number. Makes sense that it would be CSULB since I'm a student there, but it's really annoying because the message it left this time was a really long song...??

I'm an alumna of CSULB, and this IS the phone number for the campus. I get calls from this number too, even Sunday nights. I think it is CSULB....probably calling me to make a donation.
