I have a good lawyer, too. I will probably report them. They have been told not to call me at work, so they call and say that all reps are busy and for me to call them back at another number, 800-729-4560. If I do that, they will say that I have given them permission to talk to me from my work phone. I am not putting up with these people.

They keep calling the house and when I called them back on my cell phone they told me their computers were down and that they would call me back in 10 minutes it never happened and they called my house again 8 hours later.

He can be sued. You can get a settlement. Just journal the calls as to times, dates, how many times a day they call.

I got a call from them at work. When I told the woman not to call me at work any more, she asked for my home number. I told her that if she had my work number, then she probably had my home number. She started to argue with me. I hung up.You can report these people. I have just gotten a settlement from another collection agency for harassment. So, if this one messes up, I have a good lawyer.

Report them. Oxford Management have already been fined by the FTC for their illegal practices. Making a complaint to the FTC does work! WASHINGTON, July 2, 2009 -- The Federal Trade Commission issued the following press release: The operators of a debt collection company (Oxford Management) that used false threats and other unlawful tactics to collect consumers' debts have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they violated federal law. The settlements bar future violations and require the defendants to pay $225, 000. According to the FTC complaint, the defendants, who had about three million consumer accounts and collected debts in every state, falsely threatened that nonpayment of debt would result in garnishment of consumers' wages, arrest, or legal action.

Report them, they have already been brought up by the FTC for their illegal practices. Reason I posted Peter Pinto address is that they are currently selling their house - not good for the sale to have it associated with these bad company.WASHINGTON, July 2, 2009 -- The Federal Trade Commission issued the following press release:The operators of a debt collection company that used false threats and other unlawful tactics to collect consumers' debts have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they violated federal law.
