I have received so many calls from this number; really too many to count. If you answer the phone, immediately there is a recorded message about any number of different offers, such as to reduce your tax liability, or a warning that this will be the last call from them to lower the amount due on credit cards. But if you call the number back, all you get is a pre-recorded message telling you that you can press "1" to be put on their "Do Not Call List" if you don't want to hear about their special offers and deals. The message says it will take up to 72 hours for your number to be removed from their list, but they keep calling and calling. I have reported every single call that I have received from this number to the FTC since I have been on the National Registry Do Not Call List from quite some time. Anyone who receives a call from these jokers should do the same.

I just got a call from 603-214-3650 with an automated message from "Tom" at Home Protective Services wanting to know if I owned my home. They were wanting a model home in my area to demo a GE home security system. I couldn't get past the computer without giving my name, so wasn't able to ask to be removed. Credit card rate reduction scam. They are probably phishing for credit card account numbers to steal. If they call, press 1 immediately to get a live person. Try to keep them on the line as long as possible without giving them your info. Ask hypothetical questions about interset rates, balance amounts, types of card issuers, etc. They will hang up fairly soon, but the best way to get them to stop is to consistently waste their time.

Caller ID says "Satellite Sales" but if you answer you get a recording saying "Don't be alarmed" and continues with info about this being the last notice to get better rates on your account. It gave you a press 1 or press 2 option. I pressed 2 to stop getting the notices. (not likely to happen).Doesn't sound like satellite sales to me.
