Sorry, but I don't think you realize how many of these types of calls, and this one in particular cost in lost time. I own a small business and I have to stop everything I'm doing probably 20 times a day to try and answer a call that is a dead line or has someone trying to sell so****ing that is bogus.

This number is one of the AT&T Customer Service numbers...I don't know if they do blind solicitation from this number, but in my case they called because my original calling plan was going to expire, and they wanted to offer me another plan.In some cases this call can be helpful because if your calling plan expires your phone may default to a REALLY expensive 'per-minute' plan, especially with long distance or International calling (if AT&T is your long distance carrier, that is)
(605) 232-6573
Claims to be calling from AT&T in regards to "your account" and gives an 800 number to return call.
(605) 232-6573
Caller said she was calling on behalf of AT&T and wanted to go over my account to ensure I had the best plan. She didn't know anything about my account information except the number that was dialed to reach me. She then wanted to know what type of business we were. I asked why AT&T needed to know that and she s****ed to stammer a little as she gave some BS answer. I thanked her for calling and ***g up.
(605) 232-6573
The phone rang exactly once, then the caller was gone before I could answer. That's like a mischievous kid who rings your doorbell and runs.
(605) 232-6573
If they don't know the name of the person that it is billed tooThen its BS
(605) 232-6573
left message saying urgent to call back a 800 number regarding ATT business account and must speak to someone today. Never called back
(605) 232-6573
These people been calling several times, I say they are manipulative and tries to trick those who could be tricked to switch to a cheaper phone service. AT& T should really look into this because these people initially asks who is the person who makes decision regarding AT&T account. I ask if they can put all their promises in writing and send it by mail but they can't. ???All I can say is people BEWARE!

Ladies and Gents,I recieved an AT&T promotion call from this number, identifying themselves as "EdgeTel on behalf of AT&T". I called AT&T directly - at the customer service number on my business bill - regarding the phone call I had with these individuals.Contrary to my initial feeling - the AT&T rep whom I called directly CONFIRMED THIS WAS A LEGITIMATE CALL FOR A PLAN PROMOTION.As it turns out, AT&T has farmed out their solicitations for small businesses (see www.att.com/telemarketing) to this group in an effort to promote reductions to your bill. The phone call notes were entered to the AT&T database, so the AT&T rep I spoke with could verify everything the EdgeTel rep had discussed. My problem lies with asking sensitive information over the phone from a third party. In order to c****e my plan, I was asked to devulge my TaxID and SS# a**** other things. This type of information should never be requested over the phone and certainly not given if I didn't initiate the call.

Rec'd a call from this number for supposed "nonpayment" of my phone bill. Looked it up and it was paid in full. Got transferred two more times. In the meantime, I found your website and realized it could be a hoax. I asked the third "operator" what company was calling me, she argued and said that "I called" her. Then ***g up on me.

three days in a row now, they call my business asking for the person who handles the at&t account. i've told them three times now that we don't have at&t and whatever information they're looking at is incorrect. after the first call i looked up the number on here so the second time they called i said "i know you aren't at&t, quit calling me"and make a note of this "person with a heart", i don't give a s**t if it is their job, it's harassing me and attempting to SCAM and fraudulently ***n my services.

You can use filter rules to **** up or play a remove number message. You can also have time-of-day forwarding rules. This is really an annoyance and it is getting more common. The only way to fight it is with the "anti-virus" of telephony - filtering the calls.JenniferHalloo Communications

I get a call every now and a***n from this number on my business line. They leave a message from AT&T California. They state they have my account pulled up and it is very important that I call back to 800-395-8334. I have auto-pay on my AMEX, so I know it's not a billing issue. When I called back, I got a message ma****e to leave my number and the agent who called me.

Caller identified himself as Mr. Williams with AT&T and wanted to "go over" my account to make sure that none of my service contracts were set to expire.
