It's legit: The call is actually from the Murfreesboro Firefighters Local 3035. The Murfreesboro firefighters for the last 18 years have shared a benefit concert with the Nashville Firefighters in Nashville at the Municipal Auditorium. The proceeds are used throughout Rutherford Co.l elementary schools to teach 2nd grade children fire safety & prevention education, they also help citizens of Rutherford Co. who lose their homes to fire or natural disasters. No money is taken over the phone, no telemarketing companies are used.
