I got a call from them on my home phone!! I told them to hold on while I found my credit card. Went back 10 mibutes later and said "still looking." Did this for 30 minutes!! Then I got back on the phone and blasted them for being a scam!! If you get a call from them on your home phone, leave them on hold and walk away!! Let them rack up those minutes!!

They called offering me a $1000 card to Walmart/Target?Best but and a $100 gas card. They wanted a one time fee of $4.95. I tried to give them a pre-paid credit card and they wouldn't accept it. Alarms started to go off in my head and I refused to give them my normal bank card number. They then asked if I had anyone else who could 'help me out' and I said no. They said they're going to call back in a few weeks. Ugh. Super sketchy

I keep seeing comments, but what is being done to stop these calls. My 15 year old grandson got a call on his cell from this number asking for me. He was smart enough to tell them he had to ask me if it was ok first. Why the heck do they have access to database info like that if they are not a legit operation? Spam and fraud smell the same no matter what they call themself.

I've been getting these calls from this and a couple other numbers. Back in 2008, you can find reviews about how it was that the snuggie TV orders were selling people's info to a company called Lucre Inc., who uses your number and your credit card info to make scam calls - though I think they only have the last 4 digits of your card. Now I think it's MagicJack selling customer's info. I have had my MagicJack number for 2 years and never, ever given it out. I use my Google Voice number, always ('cause you can BLOCK calls from it, thank you Google). I think MagicJack won't ever implement call block technology because it threatens their ability to exploit your info and make money off you. I like MagicJack enough because it lets me use my Google Voice on my house phone for very cheap, and I never have to worry about their stupid fees if I switch companies because I never use the actual number, so I don't need to port it. But MagicJack really seems to be in trouble if they're resorting to this exploitation. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know, let alone calls that are coming directly into my MagicJack line instead of Google Voice, so I can ignore these. But it's still horrible. People, don't fall for whatever they're trying to get out of you!

Have received seven (7) phone calls from the telephone number 616-980-2600, between 8:26 a.m. and 11:44 a.m. this morning. When I answered the initial call this morning the individual whom sounded like an Asian male with a very thick accent and whom was very difficult to understand stated that we had been chosen to win several $100.00 certificates and to choose where we would like them from? That for a nominal fee for processing that could be paid by credit card they could mail out the certificates immediately. Just now at 1:11 p.m. received call number eight (8) while attempting to fill out complaint form. Never leaves any messages and now when I pick up to answer they immediately hang up. When I attempted to call the number 616-980-2600 back, immediately received the voice message stating that the number 616-980-2600 dialed is not a number in operation please check your number and try your call again.

They called me twice today. No message left. I called an 800 number about the TV ad regarding the Gel Bed. I had them send the info to my EM address. Guess they're calling b back to try & get me to buy a $3799.00 bed. No other EM's from them. Just two calls.

I didn't order Snuggie and got the call. Ordered those   space savers bags..same concept I guess. What got me was they called my work cell and used my first name. Telemarkets and credit card companies usually use your last name. Then wanted to charge me the shipping for my gift?! I knew right then it was a scam.

I got a call from this number the first time on Feb 5th 2009 at 12:34pm on my cell phone.  The woman told me i had recently made a purchase with my Visa card ending in xxxx at a store afiliated with Walmart so they were going to send me a gift card to Walmart.  I asked what purchase i made because i don't shop there.  She couldn't tell me, but she had my address (which i've only been at 5 months) and card info.  She was also trying to get me to buy a discount card to Walmart and I got so mad I yelled at her telling her i only shop at Target and she hung up.  Then on Feb 9th i got a call from the same number.  This time it was a guy offering me a gas card.  Same type of senerio.  So i hung up and called my Visa company, cancelled my card.  Last night got a call from an Unknown number at 8:30.  The lady again had the last four of my card number.  She said "something is wrong with your card ending in xxxx"  So obviously they tried to run it, and it won't go through because i cancelled it.  So i am putting a fraud alert on my credit bureau.  Don't tell these people anything!  They already have too much info!  Cancel your card and get a new one!

I have been called by this number also. They never leave a message if you don't answer.  I called back to see who it was and all I ever heard was a voice message that said "The person you have tried to call is not available, please leave a phone number."  I have also been called by a similar number of 517-933-2009. A girl with an Asian voice knew my name and the last four numbers of my VISA credit card. Said she was calling regarding my VISA card. After a few questions of verifying that she hung up. I immediately called my credit card company and asked them if they were connected to those numbers.  They said no and I reported it to their fraud department. I then canceled that credit card and ordered a new one with a different number.

I got a phone call from this number this evening - they had all my info.  Needless to say I blew my cork.  I ordered lame assed snuggie with my CC - same as another person.  I haven't used this CC in over a year prior to this purchase - so I know who sold my info.  I canceled my CC number right away as a result.  As if this crap works on people with half a brain...

I got a call from this number (2/17) on my cell phone in regards to a $50 gas gift card for my VISA.  I asked them what company they are calling from and they hung up on me.  I have only given my cell phone number to one online markterer ever..!!!! and that company? SNUGGIE !!   I purchased a Snuggie the first week of Feb. and now these calls have started.  BTW - this is the 2nd call from a different number regarding the $50 Gas card.  I also received a call from 517-933-2009 and I asked them what VISA card of mine this was in reference to, and they gave me the last four digits of the my card and hung up.   The CC digits were correct.   I have only used this combination of card and cell number to purchase a Snuggie.   I will be calling Snuggie customer service tommorrow to complain.

People called at 2:03 in the afternoon today. Missed their call and was happy about it. I didn't order any Snuggies, but I'm guessing you guys used asseenontv.com to get something from them.I had a similar episode where I was tricked into agreeing about getting a membership of some sort and getting a free gift card out of it and they'd only charge me 1 dollar a month. As soon as I started asking questions later, they hung up. A week later I found out they had charged me a dollar.I cut up my card, and ordered a new one, canceling the old card I used to order.People speak with broken english. Mail back ANYTHING you get from them if you receive anything. a lady with a heavy spanish accent called and asked for me and then said it was in regards to my visa ending in XXXX. the numbers were correct. i asked who she worked for before i would say anything else. she just repeated herself. so i asked again. i must have asked four times. never getting a straight awnser. DEFINATELY A SCAM.

i've received 6 calls from this number regarding some free gift cards for being a good card holder. i've told them every time to remove me from the list and i don't even shop at walmart... funny that everyone here seemed to recieve the calls after ordering the Snuggie. Cause i also ordered the snuggie and received it almost 2 months since the order. these snuggie people must sell your info.

There is a definite link between this supposed "Offer" and the purchasing of a Snuggie.  Has anyone been able to successfully be removed off this do not call list?  Is there any recourse?

i recently received a call from them too, and ordered a snuggie and still never got.  When ever i call back there is no answer, i am suspicous, and may even think the snuggie may be linked to a scam.

I also have ordered a snuggie and cancelled the order when it was backordered. Several weeks after the order I ALSO got phone calls from this number. Sometimes the calls were 4-6 times a day. They claimed to send me a gift card if I verified my information. THEN they called and claimed to be my credit card company thanking me for being a good cardholder. I asked to be put on a do not call list, but I remain suspicious. They had my credit card number, address, and name. It makes me nervous. Has anyone had any suspicious charges? I have seen nothing yet...

I've been receiving these calls as well. Geoff, I think you are correct about the Snuggie order. I placed an order before Christmas. Ugh! I've spoken with my credit card company and they've advised that they don't have your whole card number, they only have the last 4 digits, so all is safe on that end. What these guys will do is tell you they have a 50.00 free gas card for you, but you only pay a dollar for it. This is when they expect you to either give them a new card # or the rest of the digits of the card number they already have. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I spoke to this guy, sounded like he was reading a script or something.  Offered me a gas card.  I Asked what he was selling.  I told him I wasn't intrested and told him to take my name and # off his list.  He knew my name!  Called my cell.  I don't use my cell # for ANY business related issues. He KNEW the last 4 digits of my credit card.  I CALLED THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

1:38 pm then 9:46 am the next morning. Hang up's.

I'm calling the company tomorrow, telling them to remove my name & information from their calling list AND to add my name to their DO NOT CALL list.  Then I'm going to contact the Michigan Attorney General regarding this matter, as I fell they tried to fraudulantly get me to allow them to charge my credit card and someone has provided them with my personal information.

Told me they were calling on behalf of Visa.  I had been using my Visa card for such a long time that they wanted to reward me with a free gas card.  Then I hung up.

Received a call from this number today at 345PM from a woman with a middle-eastern accent (a little bit hard to understand at times).  I was also told I would be receiving the complimentary $50 gas card and the savings card.  BUT I would just have to pay $2.40 something for shipping.  This number has called me a couple times before and when I answered, they just immediately hung up.I have gotten quite a few calls from this number.. whenever I google it, I read about how a lot of people had ordered something off an Infomercial.. something off TV, and I had ordered a Snuggie recently.As soon as you say "OK" or agree, they have the right to use your credit card (If I had AGREED to the $2.40ish shipping charge), a lot of people said they starting seeing a lot of weird/unauthorized activity on their credit card.  Though I have no idea what happens after the offer, I just say "No thanks", she asked "May I ask why?" and I hung up.
