She asked if she was speaking to the parent of “Vanessa.” I am a 21 year old man with no kids. She spoke in a South Asian accent (we all know the one). I didn’t pick up the first time she called because I didn’t recognize the number. Picked up the 2nd time out of curiosity since most scammers/spam don’t try to call again.
Asked if I recently opened a new credit card and wanted to confirm my personal details. I got transferred and when I hung up they called multiple times I had to block the number.
