My husband has been receiving these calls at least once a week for about a month or more. Different people calling from the same few numbers saying it's Charter. He constantly tells them to take him off the list and stop calling, but obviously hasn't happened yet. Every time he starts to yell at them, they hang up. Seems like a spammer rather than someone from the company.

This is Charter and no it doesn't violate DNC list if you already have a business relationship with them (i.e. a current costumer of any of their products ). The best way to stop it answer the call and tell them to cease calling you at that number.

I get a call every day from them but I don't answer and they never leave a message. I am also a Charter subscriber so I have no doubt it is Charter's telemarketing as indicated by other commenters. My simple quick solution for this and other similar callers, I add them to my contact list labeled as "Telemarketing" so whenever they call, I immediately can see who is calling and I simply press the call disconnect button and continue on with my life :)

They call once a day. I never answer & they never leave message. I have charter cable internet service so from other comments I assume it is them trying to get me to bundle my services. Charter is the worst. They call all the time. I would love to cancel my service but there is no alternative.

This a Charter promotional company. They will tell you they do not have to comply with the do-not call registry. Wrong!! Charter is in violation of the FCC Consumer Protection Act. Tell them to remove your phone # immediately or you will file a formal complaint with the FCC. Charter will tell you it will take 30-45 days to remove your name-also Wrong!!. I told them if they I received ONE more phone call I would file a formal complaint with the FCC and my state Attorney General. Success-did not receive any more calls.
