Received a call from this number, caller ID says Desert Valley Aire. Over the past couple of years we have received a number of calls from this company. Back when we used to take the calls, I reminded them that as we've never done business with them, federal law prohibits them from cold-calling us. Each time they promised they would add us to their Do Not Call list, and each time they obviously lied about doing it as they called us back the following Spring or Fall. So for a while we just ignored the calls. But tonight they called again and I was in the mood to chew someone out, so I answered. The caller told me her name was Zora, and I began politely and calmly chewing her out. She hung up on me. Feeling feisty, I called the number back. They answered with a dull "Hello?". It could have been either a call center or someone's home, as I could hear people and noise in the background. I asked to speak to Zora, and when she got on the line, I reminded her who I was, and that she had hung up on me. I asked for her last name, which she refused to give me, saying everyone there knew who she was. I told her the people I was planning to call about her weren't familiar with her yet, and would want her full name. She said she wasn't going to give me that information, told me to have a nice night, and hung up on me again.
