I get a missed called from this number daily. Sometimes a voicemail telling me they work for Yodel? Some alleged advertising for Google.
(631) 593-0459
This person called me today and spoke very quickly. They said they weren't a solicitor or a competitor but wanted me to go to their website. When I asked for them to email me literature, they refused and seemed to get upset. Considering I was on the john at the time, it was a bit impossible for me to go to my pc. So I asked them to call me back later between 3 and 5p when I was in the office and they became angry and disrespectful. Here is a clue. If someone calls and they promise the improbable, cannot email you any literature that properly identifies themselves, refuses to accommodate a basic request and is insistent you visit a website, it is probably a trap. The website is probably java with a trojan attached that when you visit, it silently downloads itself to your pc. I googled the number and it is a VOIP # so they are further hiding their identity. Why would I want to become involved in that? if someone calls, they need to tell me who they are in which this caller tried to fast talk their way past me. When I am on the john and ask for you to call back later, you do so or you lose my business. Fairly simple. I'd be on the look out for people who visit promising the world and asking for nothing in exchange. That means trap. I then asked them how did they get my phone number and they refused to answer. They said they were partnered with google and yahoo and claimed they were legitimate. But what legitimate company cannot email you literature, properly identify themselves, attempt to fast talk their way past you and refuse to accommodate your wishes. On top, become curt and disrespectful. Here is a clue. If someone cannot properly identify themselves, cannot answer basic questions any legitimate business could, promise me what is improbable,
