Offering a job opportunity And to use Telegram Messenger to talk to hiring Manager, which is impossible to look someone up and verify they are who they say they are. I received a Check for the purchase of work equipment to begin my job and such including a mac book and some professional equipment. when I went to go cash the check, the tellers all told me that it was a fraudulent check and that If it turns out to be it could fall on me and after showing them all of the texts and such they have volunteered their time to help me out if the check does back to be fraudulent. No word back yet, but the check wasn't from the company, I was told I'm working for, the names of everyone that has contacted me, arent on the company website they sent me to research for the position. everything is very fishy and its a possible scam. after I returned from trying to get the check put into my account, the "Hiring manager" was demanding I show him the receipt with all the numbers on it showing I deposited it into my account. I sent him the receipt with my account number scratched off. I haven't received a W4 or 1099 yet and they are telling me to buy the materials with the check but after it was placed on a hold for the fraudulent reasons, he is insisting on showing me what to buy and where to get it tomorrow 1/29/2021. I will update or remove the comment if everything checks out but everything has been very fishy and as of right now the phone number is for a whole different name and the name I received was Tendra as well as the hiring manager, wishes not to let me know his number or email..
