Thank you , we just unlisted our number and this number 1-647-426-6287 keeps callingsaying unknown caller, they are our new Hot water tank company. Thanks now we know

It's a 3rd party company called CallNet that calls on other companies behalf. In my case it's for Reliance Home Comfort.If you call the number back you can remove your phone number from their call list, however it takes up to 30 days to be removed (and I don't understand why. It should be a simple delete from a database. At worst, it should be 2 days for database replications).

Caught me by surprise as I am on the do not call list and have been since the beginning!  It was a sales call - Prime Seal Inc. came up on the monitor along with the number.  They should be reported and fined as it was obvious they were just going through the phone book!

How do we get the telecom system to change? Caller sorce particulars should ALWAYS be available to called party, with call, and online database. It should noy be subject to additional fee at anytime. Perhaps a permanent block and identification of originating source company tallied by vote by disgruntled recievers is called for. How can these numbers NOT be known? Does this mean all one has to do is crack a phone and create a number for use, that would not have reverse trace, allowing unencumbered phone use? How can the phone company even direct a call if the information is unknown to them as they claim? Why should any of us pay for phone service if the use of untraceable numbers is accepted by the telco industry?

Rang twice and then they hung up.  I'm on the Do Not Call List.

Got a call from this company and it appears to be a bill collector.  They were calling to find out how to get in touch with my neighbor.  Said it was an "important business transaction" ... I didn't give any info to them it's not my responsability!!!  Reported to the Do not call registry site.

call came from number (647) 722-6433 and the caller ID was showing 1673853 Ontario i did noteven answer the phone and they did nto leave a message, on February 08th 2008 what's the point of paying for unlisted numbers, and request no telemarketing and still get those .....
