Caught me by surprise as I am on the do not call list and have been since the beginning! It was a sales call - Prime Seal Inc. came up on the monitor along with the number. They should be reported and fined as it was obvious they were just going through the phone book!

How do we get the telecom system to c****e? Caller sorce particulars should ALWAYS be available to called party, with call, and online database. It should noy be subject to additional fee at anytime. Perhaps a permanent block and identification of originating source company tallied by vote by disgruntled recievers is called for. How can these numbers NOT be known? Does this mean all one has to do is ***** a phone and create a number for use, that would not have reverse trace, allowing unen***bered phone use? How can the phone company even direct a call if the information is unknown to them as they claim? Why should any of us pay for phone service if the use of untraceable numbers is accepted by the telco industry?
