I recieved a text from this number and the person was letting me know they were interested in me for a job with Adecco group. They sent me an email with a pdf of what the job is supposed to be. The interview process via text seemed like normal questions an interviewer might ask. While answering questions, I was still cautious and began looking up information. There appears to be a scam out there that someone is using with the Adecco name attached to it. The email I received was from [email protected] Which at first glance looked legit, until I dug deeper. Sergio Picarelli is the CEO of the company and not a hiring manager, nor would his email be @usa.com. A question came up about if I got the job, what my preferred payment method would be: Direct deposit, wire transfer, or credit card. I have a bank account, but I am not foolish. I said wire transfer. They said something about checking if my bank would tally financially with the company's official salary payment account. I said I don't have a bank account. They then asked about having a credit card. I said no. Then they continued with interview style questions for a little while longer. I figured if they were wasting my time, I would waste theirs. They then closed with the do you have any questions for me before a proper review and consideration? I said I couldn't think of any and they replied they would let me know within the hour. I did not give them any personal information except for my email.
