This is an outgoing number for all of Kern County. My call was from IHSS; In Home Support Services. It could be from any department in the county. I got the ladies name but my my phone dropped the call and when I tried to call her back but the recording said it was an outbound number only. Hope this helps.

When I worked for the phone company these were called trunk lines dedicated to outgoing calls only. All the county buildings are tied together on one phone system so calls can originate from any of the county buildings, not just the court house or health department. We just received a call from this number that we suspect came from the public defender's office.
