I got a call from this number today and it was actually a legitimate call from my car dealer's service department confirming an appointment, though the callback number the woman left was different than the incoming number.

I would put them on hold after they asked for the person they were calling for. I guess they don't like to wait to speak to someone. It seemed that with as many times that they would call that they really wanted to talk to this person, but I guess its not important enough for them to wait until they come to the phone. They kept calling our business even after being asked to stop. When our attorney would try to call them back to order them to cease, they wouldn't let him talk to anyone because a computer would ask for an account number and **** up on you if you don't have one, which of course we didn't and that was the reason we were calling them about the mistake. We finally had to file a complaint with the public services utilities authorities and after two weeks the calls stopped. Our attorney wanted us to file a lawsuit to discourage them from harassing other people who don't do business with them, but we just don't have the time or manpower to follow through with it. Big corporations like this know they can get way with this because they think they're more important than the little guy without their vast resources.
