Previous commenter cites same experience as I have had, same bio about being on an oil platform, frequent texting. Got warning email from dating site, which removed his listing. When I asked for his explanation, he claimed dating site saw a different ip address than he had registered with, which he claimed was a work computer on the oil platform, they took him off their site. Not believable, really. I only got his first name, Jason. Last name, Martin, from previous commenter. Have only exchanged texts with this number. Have not spoken with him yet so do not know about accent though he wrote that he was born in Chartres, France. My antenna are up and scanning!

The man joined a Christian dating site and claimed his name was Jason Martin. He had a heavy accent (?French) he’s running a sophisticated scam to get money from trusting ladies. Claimed he was boss of a job drilling in the Gulf and had worked for Shell oil 30 yrs and widowed after 45 yrs of happy marriage.
