I received a text from this number and the sender claimed to be a lottery winner who wanted to share $300,000 with me. The problem was that he requested that I first give a lot of personal information including my medical problems before he would give me the money. When I asked him how I could be assured he was who he said he was, I was told to just trust him. He refused to verify my name, he would not tell me how he even got my phone number, and this number is not even in the same state of said lottery winner. As much as I would love $300,000, I'm not an idiot! There are far too many red flags, and this person does nothing to verify his identity. Can you say scam?
