This number was used by someone impersonating an employee with "Verizon Shipping Level 2" to try to get me to send my new smartphone back to an address he would provide with the explanation being that Verizon has i***vertently shipped my a refurbished phone instead of the new one I ordered. According a a real Verizon agent, she recently heard from someone who had fallen for this and mailed their phone to an address in Maine.
