I did not answer, they did not leave a message

Called my cell number (which is in the FTC's DO-NOT-CALL registry) on 10 April 2014 at 3:42 PM PDT; just one ring, then hung-up. This is a common tactic of those who sell lists to telemarketers. The list seller robo-calls the numbers in the list to ensure only that they are working numbers (hence the reason that only one or two rings are needed). Most of the time, once one has received a number-checking, one-or-two-ring-only call like this (and the 707-200-7689 number is almost certainly spoofed, by the way; not the real number of the robocalling unit), s/he may almost certainly be assured that a day or two or three later s/he will receive a telemarketing call from whomever bought the telemarketing list. On cell phones, which usually have the ability to block numbers built right in, it's best to block numbers like this call list seller's {likely spoofed) number, as well as the number of the telemarketer who will almost certainly call a day or two or three (or maybe a week, who knows) later. Hope that helps. __________________________________ Gregg L. DesElms Napa, California USA

called me, no message, called them back, goes to a message about a gift card because I visited "one of their websites". Option #1 was to get the card, option#2 was to be placed on their do not call list.
