Just received a call from a Lady on my cell phone asking for John to setup an interview at Lifecore. (My husband's name is John but did not tell her). I said that he is not here right now and she wanted to leave a message. When I asked it's about a Job Interview she got defensive and said just forget about it. Definitely a Spammer.

A woman left a message saying that the hiring manager saw my resume and, "has a very exciting job opportunity for you! In order to find out more about the position please call..." I knew it sounded fishy and the woman didn't say where she was calling from so I could check which position I'd applied for and then not telling me the position sealed it. No way I'd call back without knowing more info.

It’s an insurance company secretary who said “Your resume was forwarded from Career Builder. They must have picked up on a key word.” Since I’m a counseling professional, that sounds pretty far fetched. LOTS of insurance companies have wasted my time that way. How can the industry expect to be respected if it doesn’t respect others? Can’t it hire people the correct way?
