Guy calls saying that he was with Chase and that they recently saw some charges that might be fraudulent. He asked if I had a Chase card with the last four digits #### - which were from an old card. So I knew that it was a scam. Be smart out there. Always hang up and call your credit card company yourself about things.

Said I had a fraudulent/suspicious charge to Amazon. I asked to call back, and they hung up. A call to Chase using the # on my card proved that it was a scam.

Someone called from this #. I let it ring then I called the # back. A woman answered the phone saying she was from Chase and needed my cc #. I asked who she was and she did not want to give me her name. I reminded her she called my # first. Nahab was name she gave me. Doubtful if that is real. Calling as a final courtesy to lower our cc rates. Odd we do not have a cc with chase and she could not give the name of the owner of our phone #. I am doubtful it was a ligit call from Chase. Why call a customer who does not have your company's cc for a lower rate reduction? I loved this is the final courtsey call comment. Like scammer calls are a courtesy in any way, shape or form.
