I've been receiving several calls from this number each week for three or four weeks. I never answer, and they never leave a message.

Calls a couple times a week. No one is ever on the other end.

These calls are from Profolio Mortgage Corp:https://www.profolioloan.com/index1.aspx They are a licensed mortgage broker in Texas, which means the individuals doing the selling do not have to be registered in Texas (which from my research can mean they can originate from anywhere). This number has called me about 10 times a day stating they were following up an online loan application.  I NEVER filled out an online loan application!!!  I talked to a guy who said his name is Ashton, but he was clearly from India and VERY hard to understand.  No one at this company has been able to tell me how they got my number.  They are driving me nuts!!!

Be very careful.  Profolio Mortgage is a company that will take way too long to process your loan.  There are dozens of folks who have lost out of closing on the purchase of their home because the processing can take many many months.  Their ethics are very questionable.  They hire people who are willing to sell their soul to the devil to make a living.  Basically if you like working with crooks, scam artists, and dirt bags, this is the place for you.

they are a genuine company, i have refinaced and bought homes with them before, i am in the process of refinancing my second home right now with joey, their rates are as usual the best so far in comparison to the other lenders. i think they have some partof their service in india but that really doesnt matter coz they have been able to win my business for the third time

Profolio mortgage calls me from this number.  An Indian woman named Angel Rane.  I did apply at Lending Tree to refinance my mortgage.  Angel is offering me a decent rate and good savings.  But I am worried that it is a scam company.  I can't afford to be suckered out of my money.  Has anybody used this company for refinancing?  Was it a good or bad experience?

Baron was also fired recently with the big lay offs.  Stay away from this company.  If you are working with them be very carefull.  They have lost their American Processors, which means the loans are being processed in India. If you have a loan officer named Kent, be double scared.  He makes the drooks at Ameriquest look like honest people.

My husband and I were getting a home mortgage thru Profolio and up until 2 days before closing everything was fine. less than 24 hours before closing I get a call that we need additional money!  The next day, closing day Ken at Profiolio wasn't returning calls from our agent or the sellers agent and when I reached him he assured me no matter what we were closing (closing time was noon).  Throughout the day they were ditching our calls, sending us to voice mail, we were put off only to find docs were never ordered and that we would not close on time. We had to lease our new house for the weekend and were supposed to close by 2:00 on Monday.  Well, 11:00 a.m. Monday I'm calling to verify our closing time and once again we get the run around.   To make a long story short, we didn't end up closing until 6:30 on Monday and that's only because the lady at the title company took mercy on us after dealing with Profilio.   This was my 5th home purchase and by far the worst experience I've ever had.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Actually they are one of the best lenders who would give you what they promised, I was refinancing last summer and put my info down on lendingtree thing. I was called by Choice Mortgage and quicker loan, I decided to go ahead with quicker, untill I realized that I was scammed and they would not return my $500 for commitement fees. I was not ready to pursue this any more as I had percived that all the mortgage companies carried out their business in the same fashion. I got a call from profolio and this guy was an amazing proffesional, he told us that he wouldn't charge any commitment fee and we will not have to worry about any thing extra coming at the closing. I went ahead believing in him and I got exactly the same deal they promised, they were courteous

These folks have called me repeatedly for five months using bogus numbers to appear on caller ID...I filled out lending tree information had them send me an offer and now they wont go away no matter how I ask!  I have already got my loan and do not want to do business with them and never will because they harrass you!

There is some guy called Martin, he ripped me off. he changed the deal so many times.

i got so many calls from this company.. he was having a weird accent.......Well, i do not who Sepp is but i was speaking with Charlee who gave me no closing cost deal with a rate of 6.5%...i did not go with them..

This number has called me numerous time on a daily basis. No messages left totally fustrating, but once i spoke with this guy nme Sepp who was calling from the same number, but he apologized & was very amicable. He made me understood that he was trying to reach me regarding my online application for a mortgage.But this guy was very good in communicating & understanding my needs, he got me the deal that i was exactly looking for. he got me the best interest rate and gave a better closing cost.The fact is this man will never give u a suprise at the time of closing, as i never got one.......... i have done a loan with this guy and his style of working is totally different & amazing.I would recommend if anybody getting a call from this number try to speak with them & if its  Sepp Bloom you will be set .his number is 713-429-4304 & the extn is 2158. But the bottom line is they might be giving you calls, which is irritating, but listen to this guy he will break all your deals and get you the best offer,It will not cost anything, after all we all are looking for the best deal hence we have applied for a mortgage loan online...sepp he has created a good rapport with me and i am satisfied with his service.

Yeah, they call you back if you fill out an aplication on lendingtree.  Silly isn't it? They actually call you back. Maybe what people should do if they dont want mysterious phone calls is watch what they put thier phone number on.  Like applications for credit.  I've talked with them beofore and they seem real nice and were willing to help us out they even pre-approved us for a loan. But, the thing is, when we finally got the pre-approval letter so the realtor would even talk to us and show us the house we had seen on the internet, the house was a dump. So now I have this mark on my cedit report stating I had the inquiry but refused the loan.... that's like getting rejected, which, lowers your credit score hence, making it even more difficult to get a decent place to live!  I think what we should all do is sue the realtors who force you into pulling our credit just so they would will talk to you.  I mean, we have rights too!!!! Perhaps people forgot that when they invented this internet crap.  Now, people can find out just about anything about anyone if they have a name and a general idea of where they live.  Do you get it? DONT PUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO ON THE NET!

Same here.  They keep calling.  I picked up once and no one was there.

This is some mortgage company and they are really irritating.  Even if I was in the market for a mortgage I wouldn't use this company because of the harassing telephone calls on my cell.

This number has called me on average 10 time / day!  I have called back twice requesting them to stop calling but so far it has not worked.  They also leave "voicemails" but all it is is music.  I am going to pull my hair out if they don't stop!  Do not use Lending Tree, this is how they got my phone number.
