I received a text message today from this number. The message was a question. "Hi, I'm Ting, have we met before?" I have never met anyone in life, online or offline by that name. Ting would not tell me how she got my phone number. I told her we may have met but she was probably using a different name at that point. I explained to her that for the last year I have been doing research for a book I am writing on how to detect online scams. After that she left the conversation. Enough said.
