Received call from 718 340-4799 at about 11:00, C.S.T. on 02/01/2010. Picked up receiver after 2 rings. There was silence, and then "caller" ***g up. The readout on the display window indicated, "The Franklin Mint," with whom I recently cut off dealing because of their bad faith in charging me for payments on dates when I could not pay, rather than dates they had suggested which would make payment convenient for me. I copied down their phone number from my phone display and called it back. A phone company operator informed me that the number was unavailable. I've received calls of this nature, repeatedly, including now, while I've been typing this message, at 04:48 p.m., according to the display. My answering ma****e indicates, by flashing light, that I have a call recorded. When I re-spond, there's silence for 2 or 3 seconds, followed by a buzz. I erase these "calls."

Get one or two calls per day from this number. 1-718-340-4799 and 718-340-4799. Have listed my phone on the do not call registry but I keep getting thes calls everyday anyway. So much for the do not call registry. Why can't the phone company trace these calls to find out where they are comming from. How many people have to complain before they can do so****ing about it. So much for technoligy.
