Playing the same scan game on a house for sale in watertown wi. I googled the name Erwin L trotted that he gave me and it came back that this person has been dead since 2012 from my town. Knew this was a total scam since I read the email. Watch out people, scammers are a lurking!

Advertising a home on Craigslist in Sherman Oaks for rent, but the house was sold recently. THIS IS A SCAM! The email [email protected] was associated with it.

They also ran an ad on Craig's List for a home in Lake Arrowhead, CA, but have since removed the ad. I sent an email the other day and they just responded via email. I looked up the "rental" in question and found that it's listed on Trulia.com - up for sale. So, it looks like their MO is to scout around for houses that are up for sale on sites like Trulia, take the info including pics, then list them as rentals in hopes that some will actually send them a deposit.

I also responded to a post on Craigslist for a house. But, his name was Raymond Robert who currently lives in Malaysia. Will send keys to his rental, upon receipt of $500.00 thru Western Union. When I informed him that I wanted to see his house and see what the neighborhood looked like, he hung up on me.

I responded to a post on Craigslist for a house for rent. I got a scam response, with this number. He claims his name is Doug M. Kimble and that he has a house for rent in Traverse City, MI, but lives in Malaysia. Then he asked for a bunch of personal info.

I got a simular text saying that needed a code however when I recieved the code it said not to give it out they are definently scamming people.

I was selling a bird and right away before asking about her they said I will come get her cash in hand and then they said that there going to send me a SMS message and I would need to send then a number back so they know im real! i havent even asked them to pay me in any kind of form. so ya right I'm not doing that there trying to get my info through a number they want me to send to steel stuff from me!

This phone number texted me about my lost dog I listed on craigslist . Told me they have my dog just needed me to verify a code . Now my email account keeps alerting me some one is trying to get into my account.
