I got the same type of call. He claimed to be with Microsoft but didn't give me a name. Something made me not trust him so I hung up. This was after he had installed a couple of programs on my computer. I then called my tech support person and got rid of the apps he had installed.

Scammer / computer hacker called 28 times in one day said that they are a company hired by Microsoft because of their work load numbers are 1.800.298.2127 call on this number / 1.888.495.0752 said to call back on this number / 1.726.777.8979 (called on 28 times in one day 03..26.2021). Called identified himself as a Mike Johnson and was out of Illinois and could not tell me where in Illinois.
