So I think the gimmick of asking for someone is just a gimmick and this is really a cold call. I have asked them to stop calling, and I file the FTC complaint every time they call, but it does no good.

Rep said my number would be removed within 48 hours each time. How about someone share Bill Edwards' (the owner of the company) private cellular number so I can call him at all hours of the day and night, trying to peddle mortgage loans? His company (Mortgage Investors Corporation) repeatedly calls me, even after requesting that they not. I think it would be nice to at least call him up at 9:30pm and have a nice chat about how his company randomly calls citizens across the country, even if they are not the do-not-call list. There are even reports of the company calling soldiers in Iraq. Can't you think of a better way to make money than bugging people who are try to sleep, have dinner, care for their children, or defending their country? Please stop calling me. I'm begging you. I don't want your loan, and don't need your loan. I need you to stop calling me.

It's funny.....I get these strange calles from numbers I don't recognize....
