Keep getting calls from this number. Answered once, it was someone trying to collect on a bill I paid off about 8 years ago. I through the paid off letter away about 2 years ago. I figured that after 6 years I did not need the letter anymore. Lesson learned, never throw away any letter like this. They can call until there fingers are just little numbs. I've block the number. A side note: I have found that during hard economical times, these companies start to call old debt numbers in the hopes that people will just pay them again to shut them up........... Not a change.

This is just one of over 60+ phone numbers that portfolio has used to try to contact me via my cell phone. I have blocked this and the 60 numbers I recorded. I had many more than the 60! I just started blocking and recording them. They use to send letters, until I started using" RTS" on the envelopes and having them " Returned To Sender"! The alleged debts were from an old bankruptcy that had been discharged many years ago. It's been totally remove from my credit reports for over 14 years! Just don't respond to them at all! They can make numbers up that look familiar to you! Once they actually called my phone from my phone. They are stupid bloodsuckers, trying to cheat people using fear tactics. Avoid them at all cost. Maybe they will go away or all just die off!!
