Several realtors from different states have reported receiving suspicious and unsettling calls late at night from the number 732-861-2824. The caller would often address them by name, sometimes sounding as if a recording or AI technology was being used. Calls were usually made back-to-back and after 10 PM, with some instances occurring as early as 9:30 PM mountain time. The caller used a low or slurry voice and expressed a desire to talk about a house. When informed it was not a good time, the caller insisted they would call back but often hung up immediately. These troubling calls have been reported by realtors from NM, MO, CO, and upstate NY, many of whom have already blocked the number. There are concerns about whether the police can take action regarding this issue.
