I have received done calls that say restricted and when I go to my incoming/outgoing call list and try to call it back my fone says not a valid number. And when I pick up the call, no one answers. I just realized that if u spell out R-E-S-T-R-I-C-T-E-D on Ur keypad it makes this number! I luckily have not received a done call from restricted for a while.

It's sometimes used by phone companies as a placeholder when caller ID information is being suppressed.
