This phone number has been reported for an interaction related to a lost cat. The caller claimed to have found the cat but refused to send a picture and insisted on verifying a 6-digit number first. The caller also refused to meet at a local police station and used poor grammar, which suggested that English might not be their first language. It's noted that the number is from Indiana, which is not the location of the complainant. Subsequent calls to this number resulted in a 'TextNow' voicemail message, followed by more suspicious texts.

This number is a scam artist. We lost our cat and put up a flyer. We were contacted from this number by text and they refused to send a pic of the cat and said they wanted us to verify a 6 digit number and would then send the pic. When we suggested meeting them at the local police station to get the cat back, they refused and reverted back to the number verification citing that we could be a scam. Their grammar is horrendous as if maybe English is not their first language and the number is from Indiana-not even where we are located! Calling the number had a voice message saying this "Text now" user is unavailable. My call was followed with a text asking "who are you?" and then the games began.
