It was confirmed that a friend of mine was arrested for some ticket he didnt pay and was calling me to bail him out..well since I didnt receive the call I guess he got someone else..But if you need to verify if you know someone in the jail system...here is a great resource to check...www.gwinnettmugshots.com..this is updated on a daily basisIf you need to see the daily arrests...updated minute by minute.. call came with recording, "call will be monitored..."

Is that the same case on an AT&T cell phone account. I have a friend that calls me, but I havn't took the call, because they say that it is collect.

I have a friend that is being held in gwinnett county jail and this is the # that he calls me collect from unfortunately I cannot accept collect calls on AT&T so haven't talked to him.

The spelling is Gwinnett county jail. I would be interested to know if any of you or relatives had any problems with the police around this time?I have an idea that these calls are coming from the police, themselves. Perhaps they have taken an inmates phone from them,aafter finding information on this person, with your number.Tonight I had a terrible experience with the police in plain cars, purposely crashing into my car with my 18 year old daughter driving and my 14 year old in the passenger seat. To get an idea as to how hard they crashed them, the car is totalled THANK GOD my girls are alive. My daughters thought it was some guys impersinating police trying to get them to stop, she called me during the chase, asking me where the nearest police station would be, before she would stop the car. My 14 year old, with a serious heart condition was hurt in the accident, but OK. They grabbed my 18 year old, threw her down and hand cuffed her promptly taking her to jail. The police officer who called me soon after, had called me back a second time to see what was taking me so long to get to the site of the accident, told me that I should not threaten him, or he would call defacts to collect my 14 year old???? All I had asked was that it be possible I could see my daughter before they took her away.I am still in shock, I simply cannot believe this has happenned. Then by sheer coincidence the phone rang at 3 am, when I answeed they hung up. It called a second time, but I was on the phone to Charter to see if it was possible to trace the call, but I heard the call waiting tone. When I finished with Carter, sure enough-it was the same number. I'm sitting here waiting for yet another call, at the same time wondering how come this happenned and why on Earth the policeman would make up a lie and threaten me like that, let alone nearly killing my daughters.The Gwinett county thing sounds like too much of a co-incidence to me.But I will get a court order sent to Charter to find out who it is. I will keep you posted

Got a call from this number in the middle of the night...can't this be stopped somehow?

this just called me and it's an inmate from quenett (sp?) county looking for a job interview through a collect call.  My phone does not accept collect calls so I don't know if there was a real person or not.  But the collect call message was, "this is _____ in reference to the job interview..." from Quenett County Jail.  Call came in at 1005pm EST.  Called number back and it was busy.  I am on the do not call list so this number was just reported.

Same here--this am I got 2 calls from this number. When I answered there was a recorded Thank you and a hang up.
