Received a message from this number on Oct. 1st. They recording stated that there "was nothing wrong with my account" but that I qualified for a lower rate. Then they give the option of pressing 1 to talk to a representative or 2 to no longer receive calls from them. Nowhere on the recording did they identify what "account" they were talking about or even what company they were! Sounds like a scam to me. Other reports are similar to mine. They won't reveal what company they are. I'm sure if you actually make the mistake of calling them they'll ask you for personal information to make sure it's really you (SSN, address, DOB, etc). They'll then use that info to steal your ID. DON'T EVEN PICK THESE CALLS UP - SCAM!

Got a recorded message, and listened, just to find out what they were trying to sell me. They wanted to reduce the interest on my credit card. I could care less, I never run a balance, but I wanted to find out what I could about them. When I asked who I was talking to, they hung up.

Got a call with a recorded message--the standard telemarketing "this is an important call regarding your credit card account." Listened through the message and pressed "1" to talk to a person. When I asked what company I was speaking with, I was told "card Services." When I asked for the full legal name of the company, the same answer was repeated. I then asked what state the company was incorporated in, and the woman on the phone simply kept repeating "card services." I asked to speak to a supervisor and within a second a woman sounding remarkably like the same one I was already speaking to came on the line. repeated the same questions, got the same answer: "card services." Called her a b**** and asked to actually speak to her supervisor. She said, "Excuse me?" I repeated myself more slowly so as to assist her understanding. She asked if I was talking about my mother, which seemed to me an inexplicable misunderstanding, so I clarified that no, I was indeed calling her a b****. At this point I was rudely disconnected.
