I recently became the latest target of these phone trolls, they called last Friday for the first time and it showed up as "unavailable" on call display, (sneaky buggers!). I let the answering machine take it and a female voice identified herself as Maria and requested that I call her back at 770-338-2288, Extension 15011. She was looking for a Keith Blaine, (there is no Keith living at my place). She wanted me to call back about an "important financial matter" and that was it. By looking up this number online I see it is a collection agency. This is most interesting as I have no debts no credit cards and owe no money anywhere. Based on what I have read online I personally believe that it is some kind of phishing scam. If I were any of you I wouldn't give these guys one syllable of information. They somehow got my unlisted number and they're going to learn the hard way that I don't take nuisance calls. I once endured a flood of calls from a single telemarketing firm over a 5 month period and I outlasted them. In all those instances they got nothing but answering machine, my message even says that telemarketing or unknown callers will be ignored. CBV can call all they want but they won't ever get through.

Received a call from someone who left this number for a callback. The person did not leave her name, just the number. Call Display showed "unknown caller". Message left indicated caller was from "CBV Vancouver", which turns out to be a collection agency.

Do not call back I do not know you. Thank you.

Called continuously looking for someone who doesn't live at our house.

Same as all other reports. Urgent Business matter, irritating hold music, an electronic apology for holding until another representative is available and sometimes just a hang up. There have been enough calls to others to have someone out there stop this nonsense. Big Brother, are you there?

Please have them stop calling

They have called me many times, and they all have my name wrong. First time I picked up: Kid with indian accent picks up, says that I have a ticket in Burnaby that was from years ago, gives me this ticket code, tells me to call them at some other #, didnt do it. Second time I picked up: This woman on the phone yelled at me. Wanted to speak to somebody who doesnt live here, said it was suspicious. Told me to call some other # about important "personal business." I asked for her name, she said a name really fast, I told her to spell it, she said " Why do u need so much info" LOL.
