I called them back, expecting to have to deal with a bunch of crap. Fortunately, I only owed a hospital about 200 bucks. I split payments over 1 month to take care of. I usually couldnt do this, but I am desperately trying to get my old bills taken care of so I am not in debt to anyone. Paying defaulted bills sucks, but it's better than the continual hounding of creditors. Just make sure you keep proof of payment for everything you pay off - I had a company try to say that I still owed them 1500 dollars for 2 seperate accounts - I had already paid everything, couldnt get in touch with them so left them a voicemail stating that I had proof that I had paid already. Haven't heard from them since. Don't forget that you have rights and NEVER let them bully you. I am getting a tape recorder for my phone so I can catch people trying to abuse their positions and lie to us. They lie to my wife all the time, thinking they can get away with it (not this company, the dept. of education of all people)

This is a Collection Agency People, he works for many other collection agencys, like Berlin Wheeler when they cant collect they get him to do it because he is a Attorney who may take people to court for not paying there accounts. and if you want the phone calls to stop, call the number back during business hours M-F 8-5. ive noticed his system is automated on the weekends so it does you no good to call the number back on the weekends. good luck
