i called today and they said its was a 69 dollar fee and i was like i dont have a credit card or a check book...and the male on the phone responded YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE..... WELL THANK YOU NATALIE AND HUNG UP!

IT IS A SCAM!!!  JUST got off the phone with this number. Super-duper nice until they start getting into the $$$ you have to pay BEFORE even getting any materials.  I've worked for lawyers and I went to law school.  Right off the bat it sounds fishy. I offer to give my address and my phone number (no credit card though) while I can mull it over or do some research.  He did not want to let this happen.  Phone exchange:Me: "Can I give you my phone number while I stir this in my head? I wasn't expecting to pay a fee so high."Him: "Well I wasn't expecting the economy to tank."Me: "Neither was I, but it did and it affected me, and $69 is a lot to spend for someone unemployed right now, for a 4 line ad I saw in a local newspaper."Him: "But we've done all the work for you. It's time consuming to go get everything else that we've already done."Me: "I know, I've applied to government jobs before. Do you have a website I can look at?"Him: "We've been in business for 10 years, there's nobody else better than us. And we've already done ALL the work FOR you!"Me: "I believe you and you're a great salesman, but I've worked for lawyers and I've been to law school. I'm just trying to cover my a**."Him: "Nevermind, Morgan, take care." CLICK.Seriously? You seriously just hung up on me? Well, guess what, this post is going onto EVERY SITE that lists your phone number! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I asked what the company name was before anything else. As soon as he brought up payment in advance, I said "no thanks" & hung up. Then I checked them out on BBB website. There are 2 listings for American Data Group. The first one has an "A" rating, and if you check the 2nd company, they got an "F" & tons of complaints against them. The second one went under another name before. Neither is a BBB accredited business.

Yeah, I called the number, he gave me the speil, I told him I wasn't giving out my C.C. info over the phone...he hung up....imagine that.

I called and it sounded great, until I heard they charged $69. I asked why, and he said for shipping and the package. I was reluctant, but gave out my credit card anyway. Then he said it was 10.95 for shipping, a total of 79.95. After I hung up I typed in "Government Job Scams" into google...lo and behold, here it is. Wells Fargo cancelled my card and issued a new one before they could charge it.
