Credit card scam
(800) 462-2016
I can only repeat the comments that the previous person made. This call is a scam. I hung up immediately because I knew that the call was not from a credit card company.

He called saying he was from "cardholder services" for my VISA or MasterCard and that he could lower my interest rates. I knew it was a scam because I hold one credit card with no balance, and it comes from my credit union. The man was fairly hostile and insisted that he could negotiate interest rates for any VISA/MasterCard because they worked with all of the banks. Yeah, right. I told him that I thought they were a scam and that I wanted a return number. It didn't match the number on Caller ID. I am also on the Do Not Call list (for years now), and I've gotten this call a few times.
