This is definitely not PNC. The # traces to a woman in OH. Sure she had no idea someone’s hacked her phone; speaking very broken English, ID’d herself as with PNC & ask for my SS#. ?Sure! ???

This is a scam. I talked with PNC & they said these scams are becoming mire & more frequent, Never give them info; always insist to call them back after verifying their # through a reverse phone app. This particular one, like most, is traced to an individual, whom most likely is not aware their cell was hacked by a scammer. A woman across country & I connected because we were getting scan calls from each other’s #’s, although neither of us made a call. We reported it & were contacted by the FTC.

Immediately asked for private information regarding a car owned by a relative and the relative themself. I asked for more info. person refused me. Said to send a letter to relative USPS. Person hung up. Got six more “no message” calls from this number within one hour. And one call at 6:58 AM, no message.

Questionable call. Caller ID showed PNC bank and I do have a mortgage with PNC Bank, so it appeared legitimate at first. Caller asked for my zip code without saying why she wanted it. It certainly was not a collection call as I have superior credit and have never been late with a payment. The caller wouldn't give a reason for the call. I refused to give her my zip code and hung up. I suspect it was from a telemarketing firm calling for PNC Bank trying to sell other products.
