They call me at least 20 times a day. I put them on my reject list, but it still goes to voicemail. When I check my voice mail, I can hear that they actually put you on hold, then they think there is someone there so they just say "hello, hello, hello" and then they hang up!!! Definitely a fraudulent call. I bank with Chase but do not have an overdraft. "Tristen" called demanding to know how I was going to take care of this today and when I explained to her that I didn't have an overdraft she got angry and continued to demand that I take care of it today. Finally I told her that if she was going to continue to argue with me I would be calling my local branch. She got even angrier and said that she wasn't arguing with me. I told her that was fabulous and to have a great day before hanging up on her. I called my local branch and they said no one had been calling me and that there was no reason for my account to be sent to their collections department as my account was current. Do NOT give them any information. They were demanding to know the source and amount of my last deposit and I wouldn't give it to them.

Here is what I propose. If you have unlimited or free calling on your phone, spend 5 or 10 minutes calling them back, say nothing, eventually the rep will diconnect. Call em back again, continually, 5 or 10 minutes. Do this everytime you get a call from them. Eventually, with enough of us doing it to them, maybe they will change what they do on their end. This is the number for JP Morgan CHASE and is their accounts collectible department. They will usually call you if you account has been overdrawn for a substantial period of time, and they will ask you what the problem is, and work with you to correct it (in my case they refunded the overdraft feeds on my account). ALSO, please note that even if you dont have an account with them you might still be getting a phone call- Chances are the person they are looking for is related to you or knows you and your name and number was given to them in the effort to track the idiot down. If you answer you can verify this with them and they will take you off of it!

These people play a recorded message when they call that says to call back. When you call back they request full social security number, phone number, birthday, mailing address, full bank account numbers, and so on. They tell you that you are being difficult if you refuse to give personal information to them or if you request them to do something to confirm their identity. A legitimate bank would know all this information if you are already a customer. They would only request partial information, like last 4 of social, zip code, birth month, and so on. This company is definitely not Chase. Chase appears to be selling information to this company. this is a scam.i do not have an overdrawn account of any kind. i do not have a chase account. i have a wamu account with $1.00 in it. i called back and got a guy with a thick accent who demanded my name (after giving him my ph#.) i asked what the call was regarding and he said "this is chase bank."i just called the real Chase (800-935-9935) and asked about it. i told them i have an IL WaMu account and no Chase accounts or cards - they said that IL WaMu accounts haven't even been converted and there was no reason Chase would have called me. she also said that this was a fraudulent call and to ignore it the next time they call.
