I think this is someone calling to find out if you have a security alarm system in your house so they can break in and steal when you are not home. They start the conversation by asking if you have a home security system, then try to get whatever information they can.

Apx just started calling me yesterday, they've called four times and hung up on me each time! I'm getting annoyed... do they really think that if they keep calling and hanging up on me that I'll buy their product?? I'm in Canada and from what I hear they aren't even based here. My cell phone screen died so I can't see who's calling to avoid being hung up on, my screen came on long enough for me to get the number and I found alot of negative things about them. I tell them not to bother me and they keep calling anyway. I just want them to leave me alone.

BANK OF AMERICA credit collection harassment. In my Google research I've linked this number also with "credit collection." I have received 120+ calls in two weeks! Thank goodness I give out a "junk" phone number that goes to a voicemail box only (like a spam email account) to businesses!! I was one month behind in one credit card (by mistake--because my bank changed my account number), but I paid it today. Perhaps I will see these calls stop now? The credit card is with Bank of America. and I've never been late with a payment before. Not once. The state of our economy--harass every customer, even the good ones. Sigh.

"Brandon" with Apex Security Systems called asking for a family member by first name. I have started giving them the phone numbers of elected officials in Washington DC to call - I don't say that they can find the person there, I just say "Let me give you another number to call".......maybe something will be done when Washington is tired of getting these calls/hangups.

Received several calls from APX ALARM , they asked for my wife, when I called out to her to get the phone, they hung up.. what makes this funny to me, If they are selling anything dealing with security, I don't need it, .............I'M A LICENSED , REGISTERED, & CERITIFIED LOCKSMITH..I do my own security work can't wait to hear from them again. would love to have some fun , being a locksmith , doing security work, lockouts , lockins , surveillance . 801 765 5976 this is from APEX Alarm company saying they are selling a special in your area (wherever your area is of course) and that they system is from Honeywell..... anyway the system is for HOME-OWNERS only, so if you want to get rid of them quickly, tell them you are in a rental unit, or you rent and can't give out the owners name.

Called twice today. Second time I answered, he asked for me by name. When I said "this is she", there was just silence.I called back and they answered APX Alarm. I listened to the menu and it had an option to remove my number from their call list. I did that and now we'll see if that happens.

This appears to be an alternate (or spoofed) number from APX Alarm. Absolutely relentless company trying to sell security services. I doubt they even offer a product and it may be a scam of some sort. They call me no less than 6 times a day and it's really annoying. I know that this "company" goes by several other numbers aswell.
