Called my cell phone and stated the usual if you are not so and so please hang up or if you are so and so continue to listen. The voicemail they left said they were Asset Acceptance and to call back an 866-266-7500. i did and they wanted me to verify information but wanted me to feed it to them. I refused to do so and she hung up on me. I figured it wasn't mind b/c the only debt i have is student loans in my maiden name and my credit card is in my married name and they said it was for an american express CC and I have only EVER had a VISA that currently has zero balance! Know what your debts are and how much they are or you could be fooled.  she was very clever. so far hasn't called back.

many calls from this number and similar ones looking for 'jessica smith'. no company identification, altough the next time they call, i will ask. i have had my current number (verizon cell) for going on 3 years.

caller keeps on harassing not only me but my family

these people keep calling day after day asking for someone that has the same name as my son except different middle names and my son was born in 2008 they will not get the picture and want to yell and scream at me

I kept getting phone calls of this same number and I refused to answer because they did not identify what company they represent so I decided to "google" the phone number and came up this website link.  I truly appreciate the feedback from other people who had gotten calls from this phone number.  Thank you!!

Same thing keeps happening to me. Daily. When I started to explain that we have no idea who this person is that they keep trying to reach and ask to have our number removed form the list -- they hang up on me.  Nice.

Repeated Calls. We have no issues outstanding with collection agencies. Very high credit standing; pay all bills on time every month. In fact, the only debt we hold is a mortgage???What a headache this has been. Aparently, someone else with a very similar name to me has collections, child support, repo'd cars, etc. and these collection agencies are calling me and telling me that I have to pay or they'll destroy my credit. So I then tell them that their call is being recorded by me and ask them if there's anything else they'd like me to send to my lawyer regarding any commentary they may have about having me thrown into jail. That typically ends the call by them hanging up on me...
