Received call from AACC 804-234-9056.Our telephone number is on the do not call list. So if I see a number like this, or one that says Unknown Caller, Unknown Number, or Unknown Unknown, we usually just do not answer. Also because when we do, no one is there, just silence. Sometimes if you say hello, a recorded message of some kind will come on automatically once your voice is picked up, though on some of these uknown numbers/names. It is annoying, and don't know why they are calling, who they really and, what they are trying to do to us. We say what they are trying to do to us, because have checked some of the other numbers out, other people are getting them, and believe they are scammers of some kind.We want this number and others named above like them to stop calling us.Will report this to Do not call list. Would like them to be charged with something and put in jail.

It sure is nice that we have a well-paid group of govvies to protect us from scum like this. Otherwise, these jerks would call even more frequently than twice a week.

Just another call from these blackguards!

This company keeps calling our number, and demands to speak with Al. We have lived here for 5 years and we do not even know anyone named Al. The person tells me that I do not have a right to even know what company is calling. They are very RUDE! and I am tired of them calling!! How do we stop this kind of stuff!!!

Perhaps if everyone with flat rate dialing, that was offended by these calls dialed 1-804-234-9056 (Asset Acceptance) or 1-800-545-9931 say 10-20 times a day, they would rethink their practice, or call: CollectionStopper.comZombie or Junk DebtStop Debt Collectors - Make Them Pay You We can protect you from Junk Debt buyers such as NCO, MCM and Asset Acceptance.Junk Debt Buyers buy old or "zombie" debt and sue people with minimal proof or sometimes outside the Statute of Limitations. Asset sues people with the expectation that the lawsuit will be ignored. Then a default is entered and the debt becomes new again. See our News Stories on "Zombie Debt."In Michigan the Statute of Limitation is six years. In Florida, the SOL is four years. So, if you are being called or sued by Asset for an old or zombie debt, contact us and we will review the case, defend you for free and sue the Junk Debt Buyer under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and "make them pay you."Fill out our free case evaluation form. We'll review your case and contact you, usually within 5 minutes to 1 hours time.Call Us toll-free at 800-737-2345

These creeps call every week or so, always for someone I've never heard of. I hoped the new administration would start enforcing the Do Not Call laws, but so far violators seem able to get away with ignoring it.

I've received numerous calls from Asset Acceptance, but this is the first time from this particular number. They always ask for a certain person; I've never heard of her. Obviously, they're using multiple numbers from which to call. Asset Acceptance has to be stopped. They're wasting my time and irritating the hell out of me. They are gaining absolutely nothing by calling my number. So, what's their point? Asset Acceptance, please enlighten me.

Ihave been getting calls for a sharon. Ihave no idea who the person is, but they insist on leaving harrasing personal messages for this person on my machine. I have called them to tell them to stop calling twice already. Today when I called to tell them the same the lady was so rude. Inher snippy little voice she says "I've put it in as a bad # and refused to listen to my telling her that Ihad called them twice already. Is there any legal action we can take against them for harrasment?
(804) 234-9056
Is anyone ever going to act against these criminals?

I too have gotten calls from this number, wanting me to call back and talk to an Amy Taylor....I have not called this number back as of yet, because I figure they are more people wanting money that I do not have. I guess these places don't listen or watch the news about people losing their jobs. I have been out of work since May of '08.........

This collection agency calls about once a week for someone who doesn't live here, someone I've never heard of before. Like all these scumbags, AACC ignores demands to stop calling.

I continuously receive calls from these people, and everytime I answer, they hang up. If I don't answer, they leave a recorded message on my machine, saying that they are a debt collector and that I have a deliquent JCPenney's credit card account. I don't even have a JCPenney's credit card. VERY suspicious. I'm wondering if it is a scam company. Today, I called them back because they hung up on me, and they did not seem very professional at all. In fact, the person who answered was surprised I called back and continued to say that he didn't know why the caller would hang up on me. *shrug*

This is a colletion agency that calls for my brother. They have been calling me for over two years. I have asked them on several occasions to stop calling me. However, they continue to call my telephone number. They call several times a day - at different times of the week. I have asked them to stop calling me and to remove my number from their records, but they tell me that this isn't possible. I have stopped answering my phone when I see their number pop up on the caller ID. I don't ever retrieve the calls from my answering maching so that it's so full that they can't leave a message. I need them to stop calling and harrassing me on Saturday morning, Sunday morning, etc, etc, etc...

We've received many recorded messages from this debt collection company looking for a person we've never heard of, and we've had our number for 3.5 years. The message always states that by listening to the message I verify that I am indeed that person. The person being sought after is to call Amy Taylor at a 1-800 number that does not go through. Today is the 3rd time I have called to tell them to stop calling. ("Amy Taylor" has never been available.) Previously they said OK. Today they said the person must keep giving our number to them, and basically, too bad for you, we're going to keep calling!
