I just got the same scam . Telling me my computer was locked. To call microsoft and get instructions how to unlock in a safe manner. I did a control alt delete, and figured if mcomputer was locked, it would be locked on that also. Guess what. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

They told me my computers IP address was used without my consent for illegal activity and that I had give them some of my info to fix. Then when I told them I thought it was a scam as he was so unprofessional he told me to close my computer and throw it away
