Someone using the name "Danny Martinez" called me from this number claiming to be with my bank's fraud department. He claimed that my someone tried to use my card on two occasions in Miami, FL, but the purchases were declined because of my bank's "security measures." He then sent me two texts indicating the attempted fraud. I called my bank to verify his credentials and the declined purchases. None of the information he provided was factual. He was attempting to get me to c****e my user name and password on my bank account over the phone by verifying the test messages he provided. It nearly worked, but so****ing felt off - I thanked him for his time and informed him that I did not feel comfortable making that type of transaction telephonically and I would instead go to my bank. He was very professional and told me that was certainly my choice - ending the conversation. Be careful out there!
