Company called stating from Shapiro &****ociates and that there is Allegations of Fraud to the State of Texas for a payday loan and I am going to face criminal charges and be summoned to court. Complete scam. 806-337-2272

The woman called a family member of mine in Virginia for some crazy reason and stated there was also a criminal complaint against me. Same scenario as the the previous 2 comments. I called number and it had a voicemail message... LOL Same # 8063372272

she said that there was a criminal complaint in my former name on me in Texas. Would not tell me what the complaint was about or who filed it. When I told her I never lived in Texas, she told me "Just get a lawyer" and have them call me at 806-337-2272 and ***g up.

Called a family member, and had them call me to tell me I had a payday loan I didn't pay. ( have never taken one out in my life). Told me I was liable for bank fraud, malicious intent, theft with deceipt, etc. Told me to get a lawyer. Would not state their address or the amount owed. Total scam. Shapiro and****ociates. Allied Financial. Sad they do this to people.

Said I have been****ociated with fraud that’s criminal. Credit cards, and trying to serve papers what’s my address.. Scrared the socks off me. People like this need to get a job a leave citizens alone! !

Left me a voicemail saying I was being prosecuted for malicious intent to defraud a bank from a payday loan in 2010. Weird call.

She said I was being prosecuted. For a payday loan. Didn't know the name of the company. Or the amount. She also said they rana background check. And I had no felonies. Well I do. So that was a red flag. Glad I googled this law firm.

Women called from Shapiro &****c claiming my husband had criminal charges for fraud and I was his point of contact. Called back and she then claimed he would receive summons because state of ******ia had taken out criminal fraud charges charges and it was a felony charge. It was completely illogical and total scam!!!!

Called to say I owed a payday loan from somewhere between 2010 and 2013.

said calling regarding criminal charges needed to speak to me or my legal representative. No law office is going to call you. Everything would be done through the courts and legal system. Watch out for scammers.

Called for my son, with a whit collar crime and we need to retain a lawyer, called them back a***n to let them know of the spam and they just ***g up, and that's cause my son is incarcerated..

Someone who stated she (i.e., sounded like female voice) Kierstin Donahue from Shapiro & somebody called me and left a voicemail saying there was a criminal complaint a***nst Michael Randall, and I should contact the number 806-223-2764 in order to retain a lawyer. The problem is, Michael Randall was my brother who died 13 years ago.

Called mom and said I had a civil complaint

These people called my elderly parents and terrified them claiming that I'm wanted for fraud for a payday loan taken out 5 years ago. This is absolutely absurd. They claimed to be mediators. In my confusion, I called the number and spoke with a raspy voiced woman who tried to confirm the allegations with zero proof. If this person was a legit legal mediator, I would me completely stunned.

Left a voicemail saying there was a criminal complaint against my husband and I was the point of contact. Said we needed to call back to retain them as a lawyer.

Calling leaving a voicemail for my son by full name saying it's a criminal complaint in which he is listed as a primary defendant, needing to speak with him or his attorney. This is just wrong. These idiots do not know the families' dynamics, and are triggering some people. Do so****ing honest with your s****s scammers!

Asking for my son. Said he was wanted for fraud. They first asked for my husband by name who has been dead over 22 years!!!

From phone number: 806-223-4***. Called my son looking for me(his mom). Told him they were claiming fraud a***nst me. My son told them we haven't talked in years

They initially called my daughter and scared her half to death. Would not tell her who they were but I was facing criminal charges for some type of fraud. I called them twice and asked them who they were representing and they would not tell me. I finally just cursed them out and hung up.

They said that the were mediated for a company call allied financial and they were taking me the court for defrauding them. They could not give me details about the loan nor the actual company. They said allied financial were the underwriters for the company that actually loan company. Basically allied financial were the money for the the loan company.

They said I was being charged with fraud and some felony.

Why did that they had been retained by the state I live in to file fraud charges but would give no specific details to my wife who had called them back the lady actually got mad and hung up on my wife, not very professional for someone who claims to be an attorney…….. Complete scam

Was called today stating that I was being charged with bank fraud and theft by deception for a payday loan through Allied Financials. I googled and googled, could find nothing on her company “Collins an Associates” nor anything about Allied Financials giving payday loans.

I called for my friend who Ashley was trying to reach and she stated it was about a felony bank fraud charge.

Said they were pursuing a fraud case in wayne county michigan
