We have been getting calls from this number (816-272-2762)everyday, sometimes twice a day for what must be a year or so. This number belongs to the MOFOP. They call for donations to aid the families of fallen officers. I'm not sure I believe this. They ask for $35.00 and you balk at that they lower it to $25.00 and so on. They are very persistent. Something stinks here. We are going to change our phone number to unpublished, unlisted - just to get rid of these people. It is always a male representing himself as a police office who does the begging. Be careful folks. They have about put us in the nuthouse. We haven't answered in six months or so, but they still call without fail - usually at suppertime or mid-morning or both. Sometimes late evening, too.
